2026 Day of Filipino Seafarers

The Day of the Filipino Seafarer and the International Day of the Seafarer were celebrated on June 25, 2026.

The national celebration was anchored on the theme “Carrying World Trade, Carrying the Risks,” recognizing the vital contributions and sacrifices of Filipino maritime professionals. The festivities in the Philippines were highlighted by a large-scale job fair at the Rizal Park Hotel in Manila, which was co-organized by the Maritime Industry Authority (MARINA) and the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW).

A proud moment for NET SHIP as our very own CEO Capt. Norrel O. Tapia was invited to be the guest inspirational speaker during the 2026 Day of Filipino Seafarers celebration with the theme “Carrying World Trade Carrying the Risk” held at Rizal Park Hotel happens today June 25, 2026.

NET SHIP was likewise honored to take part in the event through its Information and Job Hiring Booth, engaging with seafarers and industry partners while showcasing NSM’s services and career opportunities.
